There are still a few caveats (major bugs :) ), but I have a Godot 4 CI/CD pipeline mostly working with a custom Docker image. Has anyone else tried messing around with this yet?
A Little Game Called Mario has a pretty good ci/cd pipeline that includes compilation from memory. Might be worth taking a look at how they do things https://github.com/a-little-org-called-mario/a-little-game-called-mario

Looking for examples of novel or out-of-the-ordinary uses of GitHub Actions/Pages
I think this repo/game might be more what you're looking for: https://github.com/a-little-org-called-mario/a-little-game-called-mario. There's a writeup @ https://github.blog/2022-07-06-managing-a-game-dev-community/ explaining how they use Actions to e.g. update the in-game credits.

Godot 4.0 CI/CD failing due to missing imported assets
Based on this, I just created .godot/imported and .godot/editor folders in my CI pipeline and everything seems to work, without including the .godot folder in the repo.

I just finished a CI/CD tutorial for Godot 4 in time for RC-1! (Source code link in comments)
Here's the code: https://gitlab.com/20-games-in-30-days/godot-4-game-template

Haha, yeah. It's not ready quite yet, but it is MIT open-source, so feel free. https://gitlab.com/20-games-in-30-days/godot-4-game-template I'm debating if it would be worth making a Youtube tutorial on this, still gauging interest. It feels like most people I talk to don't even use version control.

How do you manage AssetLib addons with Git? Is there a way to install assets without adding all the files to my game's repository?
I use Git to manage all of my projects. I made a game template for Godot 3, but I decided to take the opportunity to start over in Godot 4. The template contained a number of tools (fps counter, console, etc.) that I like to have in every game I make. Some of these tools are from the AssetLib.
What are some alternatives?
open-project-1 - Unity Open Project #1: Chop Chop
godot-ci - Docker image to export Godot Engine games. Templates for Gitlab CI and GitHub Actions to deploy to GitLab Pages/GitHub Pages/Itch.io.
godex - Godex is a Godot Engine ECS library.
