YouTube-Agent.bundle VS Hama.bundle

This is the way to go. I don't know the exact specifics, but there are some good Plex Agents for Youtube, including https://github.com/ZeroQI/YouTube-Agent.bundle and https://github.com/benkle-libs/YTDL-Agent.bundle

Ah, some assumptions go out the window when you start using third-party agents/scanners, since they don't need to (and usually don't) follow Plex's normal naming conventions. That said, I'm not sure what's going wrong on your end, since I just followed the setup instructions here, copied your file names above, and that seemed to work (minus the name of the show getting set to the file path for some reason): https://i.imgur.com/hivSzYl.png

It's the Youtube video IDs. The YouTubeSeries agent uses that to grab the metadata from Youtube.

First, You need a working Metadata Agent that you can get from here this works perfectly fine. Personally, I use the Movies Library type but it should also work with the TV-Shows library type but the following workflow is built around the Movie Library.

I have Plex linked to ZeroQI's YouTube-Agent.bundle and ZeroQI's Absolute Series Scanner.

I set up the youtube add-on for plex so that it can use my API key to get the video information.

For example, when you have youtube videos you could create a dedicated youtube library and then use the Youtube-Metadata Agent.

I personally keep my anime separate and use ZeroQI/Hama.bundle.

I’m not really sure what is classified as a special. I have always just put the folders for anime shows and anime movies in the same library folder. Hama uses anidb for a lot of matching, so I’m not sure you’d run into the tvdb issues that poster mentioned. Here is the github for Hama if you want to read up on it. https://github.com/ZeroQI/Hama.bundle/issues/547 this one is for his anime scanner agent but been having recent issues as well. Hopefully it's not something on Plex cutting off third party access but just a bug that cropped up randomly

HAMA itself was updated in january this year, and ASS was nov 2022. you gotta click on code and download zip and then follow installation instructions https://github.com/ZeroQI/Hama.bundle

You need both to make this work. Definitely make a different library for anime. This is Hama. Also you can refer to this post if you're having trouble

According to the installation instructions, it's only for Synology, FreeNAS, Debian & Ubuntu. There is no mention of Nvidia Shield compatibility.
