Wwise-Unpacker VS UABE

First, I extracted all of the .wem files and then used another program called Wwise Unpacker to convert them all into a usable .ogg format. I could now listen to the sound files with any media player, but I still had a gigantic file of thousands of voice lines, all in random order and with strings of random numbers as names

Hello, I was able to extract wwise files from Star Citizen to audio format files (.ogg, .mp3, .flac) but to do this I was used Wwise-Unpacker which is an "semi-automated" tool to extract those files. I'd like to do this second time but current version of game have different files structure and names, it's looks like those files are using some additional "event" or group bnk files.

There's two places to find sounds in the original game. Some are sound effects, which are inside the packages, and others are the more localized sounds such as music and voice lines. The localized sounds are in a fat 200+ mb package somewhere in the game files, and I was able to extract all of those using a batch file from this GitHub repository called Wwise-unpacker

You can convert it to an MP3 or OGG file using Wwise Unpacker.

(command for Windows will work only with "ffmpeg.exe" package eg from Wwise-Unpacker)

Anyone who wants to hear the full set of 607 lines can very easily pull them actually, as the python script Wwise Unpacker converts Infinite's .pck files (sound packs) to mp3 or ogg for easy playback.

https://github.com/Vextil/Wwise-Unpacker Place the .PCK file from the audio folder into the Game Files folder, run one of the bat files, then wait for cmd to show the ASCII tornado and type Y or N to respond to the question asking if you want to delete the .PCK file. Audio files should be in the MP3 or OGG folder. Remember to wait for the ASCII tornado!

Use Unity Asset Bundle Extractor: Unity Asset Bundle Extractor (UABE) is a third-party tool that allows you to extract assets from Unity asset bundles. You can download UABE from the official GitHub repository: https://github.com/DerPopo/UABE

Sooo, P2 modding is not very well documented so far - what I know is that it's easy to replace things like textures and sounds using AssetStudio and UABE together. The dialogue and many of the gameplay files are in plaintext or XML, and can be edited freely (once you know what they do). Furthermore, you can use DNSpy to edit the .net files included with the game (this is how the published mod Bound Again added effects to items, IIRC).

I used Notepad to open .assets files and searched for "the" to find the lines. Smarter people seem to use https://github.com/DerPopo/UABE

You can use this to rip them from the game (download is on the right under "releases")
