SV06 Plus, Klipper issues
I followed this guide, skipped the installation step as the screen already comes with a Klipper installation. Removed everything inside /home/mks/printer_data/config and pulled the repo as instructed, but:
- â Printer profiles have been added for the SV07 and SV07 Plus to the One-Stop-Shop PrusaSlicer config bundle. â

SV06+ Klipper Help
Anyone run into this? I sent an email to Sovol, waiting on a response, thought I'd ask here too to see if anyones run into this? Are the bed dimensions stored in the firmware somehow? Sorry not familiar with how this all works yet, wondering if I should try flashing this firmware https://github.com/bassamanator/Sovol-SV06-firmware/tree/sv06-plus

Did the install via https://github.com/bassamanator/Sovol-SV06-firmware and i am using the PrusaSlicer profiles from there.

Installed wrong firmware on SV06 plus
I tried to install klipper using this guide, but I used the releases page instead of downloading the tree for the SV06 plus, so I accidentally put sv06 firmware on my sv06 plus

Klipper Adaptive Meshing Purging (KAMP) added to OSS Klipper Configuration.
Well the OSS currently supports any printer actually, so technically speaking, you can go ahead and install the OSS for your printer.
- I just bought a sovol sv06 (not my first 3d printer hut my first sovol one) and I was wondering about some good upgrades you guys would recommend.
- Can you help me dicide between SV06 and SV07?

First layer issues. Leveled bed, trammed x axis. SV06
There is also a software solution. If you are running the stock firmware, flash a version of Marlin with Unified Bed Leveling (UBL) enabled. It will let you use the bed sensor to build a mesh, then go through each point and manually adjust it as needed. You can either compile it yourself or just use the UBL version from here: https://github.com/hillsoftware/sv06

Firmware
Hi I recently updated to this firmware https://github.com/hillsoftware/sv06 (V57). After completing the purge strip the printer accelerates a bit faster than I'd like, and It sounds like the Y axis is stepper motor is struggling. I've tried to make changes to the firmware but get this error, even without any of my changes I still get the same error. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks, Alex

SV06 Plus - Marlin 2.1.2
Was Marlin previously working and suddenly stopped? I would say, start with a different micro SD, format to FAT32 and flash the original Sovol3D firmware back to the printer. Guide and downloads found here. Then on another freshly formatted micro SD follow this guide to download and install Marlin from GitHub
- If youâre not on klipper youâre leaving performance on the table!

Bed mesh calibrate
Unfortunately the auto bed leveling on the SV06 can be quite bad. I had the same issue. The way I solved it was by installing the manual mesh version of this custom firmware.
-
SV06 wonât automatically pause at set layer height
While Iâm not sure exactly whatâs causing your specific issue I can tell you the revision of Marlin that Sovol uses is quite old. Iâd recommend flashing Hillsoftwareâs v57 pre-complied release. It fixes a lot of issues and adds a lot of features that Sovol chose to leave out. Just follow the directions during your setup and you should be good to go with any mid print pausing or filament changes.

I can't make SV06 print properly! Almost giving up!
Tried to change the frimware GitHub - hillsoftware/sv06: Custom Sovol SV06 build with UBL and X-Twist , used bi-linear version got the same problem as sovol firmare with 25 points bed leveling.
- Weird things with the SV06 ABL
-
How to fix X-Twist?
Yesterday I finally flashed the custom firmware from hillsoftware. At first I tried my luck without X-Twist-Compensation to see if the firmware with UBL could fix the problem. It didn't.
