I need you people to tell me if I'm an idiot or not, could I not just print a direct drive bracket and mount this to it? Seems so much easier than spending $100 on amazon for a kit
Maybe Prusa issue 602 can be somewhat relevant... https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/602

Distracting layer lines with new every feature
I’m aware that I have issue #602 going on here... But has anyone else experienced these more-obvious layer lines showing up whenever a new feature in the model is started? See the lines continuing along the walls that correspond with the steps and even the rear hole.

Unable to run thermal model calibration on MK3S+ Revo firmware 3.13.0 (TW: Cal. NOT IDLE)

MK3S with Revo 6
Now comes thermal modeling which has issues with Revo 6. I completed steps 5-16 on Github (see https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/4105). This eliminated almost all the Revo 6 issues associated with thermal modeling. I would always get a beep and "Thermal Anomaly" warning on the LCD. Not a fatal printer error but annoying.

Prusa Bear Firmware v3.12.2
Since there's no recent bear firmware, and flashing to the latest Prusa firmware after calibration with the bear version doesn't work with the BearExxa extruder anymore, I've recompiled the firmware with the z offset patches provided by bear labs against the official Prusa releases.

Built a prusa w/ bear upgrade. Having trouble for days with "XYZ calibration failed. Bed calibration point was not found." The Z axis does not even come close to the bed... Any help would be much appreciated!
If you do go the firmware route and if you don't already know, this is probably the best place to start: https://github.com/bear-lab-3d/Prusa-Firmware
