PhoneVR VS android-file-transfer-linux

I recently purchased a VRG Pro and a Bluetooth controller to use with my Android device as a VR headset. I am having difficulty using the controller within VR using PhoneVR + SteamVR.

Sort of lol. Riftcat only allows you to use it for 10 minutes at a time, unless you pay $15 one time to unlock unlimited time (which I might do.) It connects to SteamVR which is insane and does WAYYYY more than I wanted it to do! This has cause me to do a ton of tinkering, set up my xbox controller with SteamVR, and now I am looking at an open source version of Riftcat called PhoneVR. I just installed PhoneVR and have had a chance to get that working yet. I will make another comment if I get that working. If not, I will probably pay the $15 for Riftcat.

I installed Android for transfer from - https://whoozle.github.io/android-file-transfer-linux/ & it works! Though it's interface is old fashioned & you need to download files instead of copy, it's quite easy.

If Android file transfer doesn't work, try This open source version. mac os image capture should also work for photos. If not you'll have to plug into a Windows or Linux PC since Apple in its infinite wisdom decided mac os doesn't need native MTP support.

Yes, you can try "Audible's" but I'm not sure it work for exporting from your Zune to your computer or use Android File Transfer For Linux but you will need a Linux OS (you can just boot it from a USB stick) and then extract the audiobooks to your computer (without name sadly). If this is a Zune HD you can also use Liberate on the live archive to copy them over FTP.
