Going from Index to Quest 3; Oculus link w/USB, but with Valve knuckle controllers.
Step 0 - Repeat, please read the steps before you do anything as you need streamVr compatible dongles or an Index, and you need this https://github.com/pushrax/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator installed.

Tundra Trackers appear metres away from me
Use SpaceCalibrator to align one of the Quest controllers and a single tracker strapped to the same hand using https://github.com/pushrax/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator
-
Base stations and vive trackers not being deteced or registered by steamvr
you need to download OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator for that to work :)

VR lighthouses 2.0 aren't seen by steam VR
I'm not sure if this is relevant to the issue you're encountering, but I basically had the same issue when I first got light houses and vive trackers - the light houses wouldn't show up on steamvr at all until I installed OVR Space Calibrator: https://github.com/pushrax/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator
-
Having difficulties setting up Index controllers and tundra trackers!
regardless I downloaded OVR and space calibrator and followed the guide, a video, as well as checked the FAQ's and I am still unable to get this working.

OpenVR Space Calibrator - "Not updating: Low-quality calibration result: Calibration failed."
Hey there. I believe the issue was due to corrupted config files that didn't get removed during the initial uninstall. After uninstalling the second time I followed the instructions here https://github.com/pushrax/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator/wiki/Troubleshooting-and-FAQ and deleted the files listed in the "config cleanup" section. After reinstalling everything seems to be working fine now.

Need help with Vive tracker + HP Reverb G2 display and tracking not lined up
I've tried using OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator , specifically this fork here. It will calibrate regularly but is off depending on where I am in my play space and my rotation. Continuous calibration always results in "Calibration failed" I couldn't figure out why I've been able to use continuous calibration with a quest over virtual desktop.
-
Changed from G2 with index controllers to Quest 2. Quest controllers take over periodically and generally frustrating.
I never had much luck with manual calibration as it tended to drift. I’d recommend getting some sort of tracker like a vive or tundra one, mounting it on your hmd, and then using the continuous calibration branch: https://github.com/bdunderscore/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator/releases
-
Reference (lighthouse) HMD not detected, profile disabled
The only way to not have to do calibration every time is to get another steamVR tracked device like a Vive tracker or maybe an old wand, mount that to your G2 or Pico and use the "Continuous calibration" branch of OVRspace Calibrator. This will automatically keep the steamVR devices aligned with any non-steamVR tracked headset.

Quick Question
Put a vive tracker or trundra tracker on your headset and switch to this branch: https://github.com/bdunderscore/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator/releases/tag/v1.4-bd_-r0

Is a Vive Cosmos Elite worth $500 CAD?
It's a fork of OpenVR space calibrator that adds the feature. I haven't had any problems with the Reverb G2 but perhaps having to use virtual desktop for the Q2 causes problems. But then again i haven't experienced problems with just the regular version either, only imperfect calibrations. The idea of the continuous feature is to eliminate drift as it periodically recalibrates the tracker to the head.

pico 4 + virtual desktop + fbt tracking bad (explanation in comments)
I don't know if it works with Tundra trackers, but with Vive trackers you can mount one on the Pico 4 and use https://github.com/bdunderscore/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator for continuous calibration, this should give the best results

Big screen beyond or Vive pro 2?
You can use the F3/XR Elite with base station hardware, I do it all the time using bdunderscore's variant of Space Calibrator which uses continuous tracking (https://github.com/bdunderscore/OpenVR-SpaceCalibrator/releases). Tutorial: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ckf3NVRomWs). I've strapped a Tundra tracker to my F3 top strap and set it as the reference point for my Focus 3. It's not perfect, however - this is also CPU and perhaps sometimes GPU intensive. I also have a Base station 2.0 4x setup, because on 1.0s this wacky arrangement will drift much more. It's harder to be competitive in Pavlov with this setup (your "guns" will never be aligned perfectly), and doubly so on 1.0s (I feel the order would be F3 controllers > BS 2.0 4x > BS 1.0 with this Mix VR setup).
