-
Available on MacBook?
Although you'll probably need to install OpenJK anyway afterwards.

It's still active.

Hey y’all.. How can I play multiplayer? I go into the “multiplayer” portion on steam but there are no lobbies..
Install OpenJK or EternalJK.
-
Worth buying for PC (multiplayer)?
Isn't EternalJK just for MP? OpenJK is for both. I mean, if you don't care about SP, then sure, go for EternalJK.

No servers showing in Jedi Academy on Windows, Mac, or Linux? Read here.

Want to play online
I bought JKA on Steam and I have been trying to figure out how to use EternalJK to get the multiplayer to work but there are no real instructions on how to do it. I've downloaded "ejk-japro-pk3only.zip" from https://github.com/eternalcodes/EternalJK/releases but there's no readme and I have no idea what to do with the files.
- Can't get JA to run in 1080 resolution, the console commands and game files methods aren't working at all
-
Some random clips from base and ja+ this January, from TFFA ,FAA and random pugs .. still loving base and ja+ isn't so bad
Get the EternalJK client, follow the install guide if needed.

Why is multiplayer on PC so weird (no mods)?
You probably want the EternalJK client if you want to play MP. You can sort by player count in the normal game but you're right, a lot of old, dead servers are still up and full of bots. ETJK filters out all the bots and shows it as a zero-player count so that you can easier find populated servers. https://github.com/eternalcodes/EternalJK/releases (If you need help with the setup feel free to ask)

I created some new public servers for anyone who is interested (PC)
I recommend using EternalJK ( https://github.com/eternalcodes/EternalJK/releases ) if you're completely new to this game. OpenJK works better on Linux from my experience.
- Playing from linux nicely with eternalJK

New player here! How do I go about joining multiplayer matches in Jedi knight: Jedi academy?
I use both of them? Not sure if thats a thing but I wasn't sure if EternalJK did this as well, which it appears to. Either one will work for OP though. :)
