HP Reverb G2 (2023) Revive and other External Games
You want this version of revive https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/releases/tag/3.0.0 Note that compatibility varies, some games just don't work and there's not much that can be done about that as far as I know. This is the reddit post I read that led me to the files when I searched https://www.reddit.com/r/HPReverb/comments/ufq8ti/issues_with_revive_nothing_plays/ and this one too https://www.reddit.com/r/HPReverb/comments/ktyj6b/revive_revivexr_amazing_performance_on_g2_in/
- Is there a way to play Oculus Quest exclusive games on SteamVR?

is it worth getting a valve index in 2023? The valve index 2 will be announced soon but that means it might not be released until late 2024. I currently have a oculus rift s and I’m not interested in getting the quest 2 or the quest 3 when it comes out
If you do end up switching, don't forget to check out Revive, a piece of software which lets you play Oculus PCVR games through SteamVR.

Picking up my Index tomorrow, what games should I buy?
Well I did finish it a while ago, I even did stream it a little bit on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/793672550 . The game is not that bad, it's just annoying, and a real pity they dropped it because it had so much potential to be a great FTL in VR :-). I also made a save scummer for it: https://github.com/StarLightPL/fos-save-scummer , without save scumming it's hard to finish, as bugs can ef you up :-) Like said, pick it up on sale, it's not worth the current asking price in my opinion.
