is it worth getting a valve index in 2023? The valve index 2 will be announced soon but that means it might not be released until late 2024. I currently have a oculus rift s and I’m not interested in getting the quest 2 or the quest 3 when it comes out
If you do end up switching, don't forget to check out Revive, a piece of software which lets you play Oculus PCVR games through SteamVR.

Kairo - exploratory puzzle game that's still playable in VR on the Quest (though takes some steps to do so)
Next step is install the wrapper. This allows you to play older SDK versions on current (as of now) Oculus Quest firmware versions (it was originally meant for the CV1 but works on the Quest). Dowload LibOVRWrapper-1.2 and if you'd like, open the batch file in Admin mode to install the necessary files in the correct location.
