Concerning Compressed Textures, is it fine for me to use the KTX format over DDS(for directx11)
I was looking around on ways to tackle texturing with my engine, and I stumbled upon KTX(https://github.com/KhronosGroup/KTX-Software) so far it looks pretty promising. The problem is if I should ditch the the native format for directx(DDS) and if I did, would I have any extra inconsistencies with using KTX.

Texture Compression Tool
Hi, I'm using a pipeline consisting of basisu and libktx for processing uncompressed images. The REST API server itself runs on Spring Boot and communicates to an image processing server via an Apache ActiveMQ Artemis message queue.

glTexStorage2D and compressed textures
After spending some time trying several libraries, I settled with FasTC for now, but it seems to only be able to manage 32 bits RGBA image formats... I am looking into Crunch2 which is basically Crunch with modern CMake.
What are some alternatives?
