Using ELRS Happy Model ES24TX-Lite with X-Lite/ Pro
For those willing to semi DIY it (which most in this hobby are), here's my solution to getting X-Lite to accept HappyModel ES24TX-Lite. I 3d printed this case (https://github.com/ExpressLRS/ExpressLRS-Hardware/tree/master/PCB/2400MHz/TX_SX1280_Slimmer) You'll need to do a little modification after this is printed. You'll need to cut/break off the 2 post of the screws near the top of the module, this helps the module sit lower in the case. You'll also need to break off the back where the module pins will be. Mission planner, telemetry radio and drone video question
DroneBridge is probably the easiest/cheapest solution you're going to come across. It uses a pi + specific WiFi adapters to create datalink more capable than just regular WiFi.

Daemon Relay Build Advice
I would try to make something up of ESP32 LoRa boards. They can do amazing long ranges and are super cheap. Also support p2p networks so you can place transmitters anywhere. Using LoraWAN and DroneBridge would work I guess but I don't know about the latency
What are some alternatives?
inav - INAV: Navigation-enabled flight control software
ESP32 - DroneBridge for ESP32. A transparent short range wifi based telemetry (serial to WiFi) link. Support for MAVLink, MSP, LTM (iNAV) or any other protocol
EmuFlight - EmuFlight is flight controller software (firmware) used to fly multi-rotor craft.
esp-drone - Mini Drone/Quadcopter Firmware for ESP32 and ESP32-S Series SoCs.
GUN4IR - The best Lightun system you can do by yourself
wfb-ng - WFB-NG - the next generation of long-range packet radio link based on raw WiFi radio
ExpressLRS - STM32/ESP32/ESP8285-based High-Performance Radio Link for RC applications
EZ-WifiBroadcast - Affordable Digital HD Video Transmission made easy!
QUICKSILVER - Flight Controller Firmware
