ElectronPlayer VS smarttv-twitch

Look for the app ElectronPlayer here. It’s a little old but has been working flawlessly for me in game mode.

I use ElectronPlayer. Works great in game mode and even has full screen hot keys. Not only does it come with Netflix and YouTube. It comes with paramount+, Hulu, and Disney+.

No, probably is not :D Even Switch Shop is just a wrapped website, not a native app. That is why it is so horrible. But if you want a more "native" feel, you can always install an electron wrapper like https://github.com/oscartbeaumont/ElectronPlayer

Not sure if this helps but you can check out ElectronPlayer which is a client for Netflix and other services. It also has an adblocker built in. I have been using it for a year or so and have no complaints.

SmartTwitchTV. https://github.com/fgl27/smarttv-twitch This one is the most challenging to download, but works the best. Admittedly never done the Android TV version, but have done the Samsung version twice. Follow the instructions on the github very carefully.

The process to install it is a bit involved, but I use the app smarttv-twitch and it works incredibly well, better than any official Twitch app on Android TV, Xbox, PS4, etc. Once you install it once, it can update itself and you don't need to mess with anything to keep it running.
