Between the explorer patcher project and WinAero Tweaker, you can basically remove and tweak all the annoying things in windows 11. You can revert the start menu back to windows 10 style, fix the right click context menus to be like they were and add new features to it, remove all the ads, and a ton of other stuff.
And for anyone that wants a start menu that works how it did on Windows 7, back when a start menu was just a start menu and not an advertising platform, grab Open-Shell over at https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu
Windows 10 LTSC with KMS key + https://github.com/mikolatero/docker-vlmcsd = winning..
For now there is a community port of steam OS 3 (what the deck is running): https://github.com/HoloISO/holoiso
I use Files instead of Explorer because of crap like this.
You could use https://github.com/builtbybel/BloatyNosy if you don't want to do it manually.
Proton, also check out lutris, a game manager for Linux: https://lutris.net/
Check out context menu manager shell, it keeps the win11 styling but fixes all of its issues. Looks like this.
