DaedalusX64-3DS VS banjo-kazooie

DaedalusX64 - Nintendo 64 for the 3DS.

DaedalusX64 for 3DS can run some N64 games. It works better on a New 3DS/2DS. I got some games to work, but didn’t try many and couldn’t figure out how to save. This is the compatibility list

DaedalusX64 for the 3DS. It even plays games in 3D, although not very well and not very quickly.

The emulator can be downloaded here or from the universal updater on a homebrewed console. The only compatability lists I've seen use an older beta version of the emulator and haven't been updated for this version. Performance wise, I notice a few stutters on transitions like from title screen to demo or loading the starting line but during actual gameplay it's more or less locked at 30fps. I did try this on an old 2ds just because and unless you don't mind the game running at 1/3 of the speed you will need a 'new' system to run at full.

your only option is the DaedalusX64 standalone emulator, or the VC.

Hello everybody, this is a little outside of the scope everyday Nintendo users but I'm trying to compile the banjo-kazoie decompilation project : https://github.com/n64decomp/banjo-kazooie . I'm having issue with the pip module installation and the importation of rabbitizer module. I've been trying to extract assets and compile the project with WSL and msys2 MINGW64 without success. I'm pretty sure most of those errors are due to Environment variables path.

https://github.com/n64decomp/banjo-kazooie 98.6934% Banjo-Kazooie is very close to fully being decomped. We could see Mario in Banjo Kazooie soon which would be cool. also libbk would be a possibility.

Usually it moves up like 1% every 2 weeks or so. Its almost out the oven.

Luckily very soon we won't need to use this version anymore as the decompilation project is at 92%
