DaedalusX64 - Nintendo 64 for the 3DS.

DaedalusX64 for 3DS can run some N64 games. It works better on a New 3DS/2DS. I got some games to work, but didn’t try many and couldn’t figure out how to save. This is the compatibility list

DaedalusX64 for the 3DS. It even plays games in 3D, although not very well and not very quickly.

The emulator can be downloaded here or from the universal updater on a homebrewed console. The only compatability lists I've seen use an older beta version of the emulator and haven't been updated for this version. Performance wise, I notice a few stutters on transitions like from title screen to demo or loading the starting line but during actual gameplay it's more or less locked at 30fps. I did try this on an old 2ds just because and unless you don't mind the game running at 1/3 of the speed you will need a 'new' system to run at full.

your only option is the DaedalusX64 standalone emulator, or the VC.

As for why I want to mess with this before anyone asks I am wanting to add something specific for how you can use the battle chip gate feature, and yes I know I am in over my head and will have a lot of learning to do before I get any real results towards that goal which is why I am seeking help on how to compile this.

https://github.com/shonumi/gbe-plus This is my favorite gameboy emulator, it supports netplay for gb and gbc with some infrared support for gbc crystal. I haven't actually used it in a long time unfortunately, but it can be a good starting point.

Unfortunately, I have no plans to work on HD graphics in GBE+ in the future. In fact, I'm removing it going into 1.6 and beyond. You can see the relevant discussion on GitHub if you're interested.
