Unlike many tasks, Blender’s powerful but bafflingly-designed texture map baking tools are not improved by its UI-focused fork, Bforartists. I use Bforartists, a UI-focused fork of Blender, for 3d graphics and some texture creation–like this project. It doesn’t fix every pain point, but I can’t recommend it highly enough. This method, and the attached .blend file, will work just the same in mainline Blender.

There's a fork of blender called Blender for Artists that does what you're talking about. It adjusts the UI and functions to become a more artists focussed app.

Rambox - Basic free account supports unlimited services, $5/month to unlock features (e.g. spellchecker, customizable workspaces), $144 for lifetime license. Performance on my computer was awful. Also, the app itself doesn't look or feel as polished as their website, imo.

Just went to getferdi.com and I get redirected to rambox.app so I can only assume rambox bought getferdi

Ferdi website now leads to rambox.app.

Now it seems like getferdi.com redirects to https://rambox.app/.. looking very similar to what ferdi was. Is this like a new version ?

If it helps, I use Rambox instead of seperate instances of messaging clients (Slack, Teams, Discord, etc). I can create multiple tabs, each with a single workspace of slack, and keep them together with my other messaging apps.

You could also just use Discord in a browser, or (thats what I do), using it in a "Multi-Messenger" like Rambox. https://rambox.app/
