Best alternatives now that Ferdi is gone
Rambox - Basic free account supports unlimited services, $5/month to unlock features (e.g. spellchecker, customizable workspaces), $144 for lifetime license. Performance on my computer was awful. Also, the app itself doesn't look or feel as polished as their website, imo.

Rambox buys ferdi?
Just went to getferdi.com and I get redirected to rambox.app so I can only assume rambox bought getferdi
-
Ferdi is officially gone
Ferdi website now leads to rambox.app.
-
Ask HN: What happened to “Ferdi” – the “multi-messenger”?
Now it seems like getferdi.com redirects to https://rambox.app/.. looking very similar to what ferdi was. Is this like a new version ?

CS Majors: using Linux at Stanford
If it helps, I use Rambox instead of seperate instances of messaging clients (Slack, Teams, Discord, etc). I can create multiple tabs, each with a single workspace of slack, and keep them together with my other messaging apps.
-
discord on debian sid?
You could also just use Discord in a browser, or (thats what I do), using it in a "Multi-Messenger" like Rambox. https://rambox.app/
-
Is Rambox 2.x open source?
The source code for version 0.7.x is available in the repo https://github.com/ramboxapp/community-edition/. Where can we find the source code for the new version 2.x.x? And where can we file issues for this version?
- Whatsapp client for pop os

Just removed myself as a Ferdi's contributor
You can try its predecessor: Franz https://meetfranz.com/ If you want to check something else, you can go with Rambox https://rambox.app/ If none of them works for you, then you should check other apps from alternativeto

Show HN: Franz – A desktop client for Apache Kafka
I thought this was https://meetfranz.com/ until the word “Apache Kafka” and was puzzled.
Naming things and name collisions…

Is there an app that can combine Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, Instagram DMs, and SMS into one unified inbox?
But for Windows or Linux PC, I'd use this one Franz to view multiple chat apps
-
Texts.com invite
Thats insane! I thought it was a free thing that just required an invite to access. Jeez! I have seen an alternative called Franz, not tried it yet though. By the looks of it does have a free alternative aswell as paid version.
- Viewing multiple email accounts
- A single "control panel" app which aggregate every single social media chat/messenger, email, and other platforms?
-
Message Integration app
There is also https://meetfranz.com/. But its neither selfhosted nor free. (well unless you only need 3 different services)
-
Tired of so many chat apps. Looking for a software to rule them all (well combine them all)
Or Franz

I Created Custom Artwork for Franz App
For anyone who doesn't know what Franz is, you can check out the link below. It is essentially an application that allows you to access (most of) your online messaging apps in the same place. Which is convenient when you want to, for example, check your facebook, discord and IG messages at the same time. https://meetfranz.com/
- Patience is key when you're new to Linux.

Multiple programs"apps" in same windows "switch application with tabs"
