Get Rufus
Very long story short - the only way I was able to get it to work without BSOD was to install the latest Canary build of Win11. I used this tool: Offline Insider Enroll because I'm running a bootcamp partition on an intel macbook pro. I also needed to use this tool to bypass the TPM check because the macbook pro is not officially supported: Skip TPM Check on Dynamic Update.
In any case, have you studied https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Archinstall and https://github.com/archlinux/archinstall. While archinstall is new and has the expected bugs, I've not had your issues before. You might try an earlier ISO, like Oct 2023, though it's not clear if you're using an ISO or the archinstall installed package.

There isn't any hypervisor running on that and still no SVE
Hello, Here's a humble contribution: A customer requested to restrict access based on geographical regions, and I haven't found any pre-configured on FortiGate, so I did one myself. I downloaded the list from https://github.com/lukes/ISO-3166-Countries-with-Regional-Codes/blob/master/all/all.csv, cross-referenced it with FortiGate's internal list vía a Python script and this is what came out: https://pastebin.com/i9krkQBz Max PS: I had to manually at Netherlands Antilles (AN) and Kosovo (XK) to their respective continents, because they weren't on that list. DISCLAIMER: The information provided in this countries and regions list is presented "AS-IS".

Cool. My goal in asking is to find out if there's anything I should know before trying to update the build script myself.. This is my first time trying to build an OS, so if I'm getting in way over my head, I'd definitely like to know that in advance.
You can edit UEFI drivers from the operating system's bootloader, and you can even flash the UEFI itself from the OS in most computers. While secure boot. Failing that, you can shim a preloader between the bootloader and the UEFI and load arbitrary drivers despite secure boot, like is done here : https://github.com/ValdikSS/Super-UEFIinSecureBoot-Disk
Any sufficiently motivated attacker can make a UEFI rootkit happen, and it's in the wild right now. TPM really do offer no protection to users, either against userspace malware, or rootkits. It's purely about DRM.
Hello, as the title says, just came across the option of checkra1n after finding out that unc0ver was not available for iphone 6s on ios 14.6 (proven fact, installed unc0ver and got unsupported message) . Due to the fact that i am using a windows pc , i looked what are my options again. Before finding asineth0/checkn1x iso , i came across https://iamjustatech.blogspot.com/ who was offering checkra1n0.12.4windows image in order to be able to create a bootable usb with rufus. So, my question would be, did i exposed myself by not using the git variant of the iso? All my concern is about the pc, the phone is empty and does not have my main ICloud account. I am thinking about not infecting my BIOS when i ran the usb boot and jailbroke the 6S or i don't know, any other kind of malware that could spread over my ssd. I don't know if any of these scenarios are possible , but i thought i would ask in case i should install a clean version of windows and maybe re-flash the bios too.
Project mention: Take a break: Error-detecting codes in credit card numbers, ISBNs etc. (2000) | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-03-07Memories. About 12 years ago I looked in to this stuff as part of adding national checksum support to an IBAN library. It was quite a mission to discover the number of systems out there, most of which were insufficiently documented or undocumented. Wound up reverse engineering quite a few of them (period braindump available[3]).
In the end I wrote a function[1] which reverses an input known to fail a checksum to determine probable transcription errors based upon a manually compiled, exhaustive list of probable mistranscriptions[2].
