Does Archinstall have any downsides?
Still feels that it is in rapid development phase, rather than just maintenance, last month I encountered this bug

The problem has been fixed in Git, we'll just have to wait for the fix to be released in the next version of archinstall.

Arch server ?
If you use a configuration file and don't use custom-commands, there is no problem whatsoever. I do believe Archinstall's developers are going to make sure no declaration will fail. That being said, looking at their bug tracker, it looks like Arch is moving a bit too fast for them too as there are installation-blocking bugs regularly showing up (and usually solved swiftly!) but do you want to wait for 2 months to redeploy your system your secondary disk is confusing the installer?

Archinstall is broken, are there any alternatives? Or anything I can do?
Hello! I was just in the same boat as you about an hour ago, but I was miraculously able to install things properly on the latest december ISO via the install script by unplugging the arch install USB once you’ve fully booted into the tty and run pacman -Syy (i believe that just confirms that you’re keyring works otherwise you’ll have to populate the arch-linux key ring manually which is discussed in the link below. Someone more informed could probably describe exactly -Syy does). If that doesn’t work you can try some more things mentioned in this github discussion like patching lsblk commands for whichever device keeps borking the install, or just unplugging every drive except for the one you want arch installed on.
