Project mention: Tip: How to disable internet access for games or programs running on Wine | /r/linux_gaming | 2023-11-03Source
In any case, have you studied https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Archinstall and https://github.com/archlinux/archinstall. While archinstall is new and has the expected bugs, I've not had your issues before. You might try an earlier ISO, like Oct 2023, though it's not clear if you're using an ISO or the archinstall installed package.
Project mention: Imade a simple shell script program to manage packages in Linux. Currently it supports apt, flatpak, snap. It can probably be useful for someone. | /r/linux | 2023-06-23Like bauh which supports AppImage, Arch packages (including AUR), Debian packages, Flatpak, Snap and native Web applications
Project mention: Penguin, Chicken or Duck? (Eros, OC, Microsoft Bing AI Generated) | /r/MildFemboys | 2023-12-09Arch is a popular Linux distribution(basically an os). Him saying that he uses arch is basically a joke that arch Linux users will always mention that they use the distro. (Also a penguin is also the Linux mascot)
It blocks your updates when there's Arch newsfeed updates that you haven't read, prints it to terminal and then you just need to mark the latest news as read for your updates to go through. It's rare enough that it's not a bother, while this news can contain crucial information about what needs manual intervention and how. https://github.com/bradford-smith94/informant
Project mention: What is the best way to deal with TrueNas Scale dropping docker support | /r/truenas | 2023-05-24I run docker on scale using a Debian jail. It works great, and has basically no overhead or networking/device issues like a VM.
I copied these dotfiles (https://github.com/lvntcnylmz/dotfiles/tree/main/.config/swaync) in /home/user/.config/swaync/... and used swaync-client --reload-config, but the notification center didn't change. So I tried to stop and restart swaync, but the theme still wasn't applied. I even tried restarting the computer, but the situation remained the same. Any ideas on how to solve?
I downloaded it from here
https://github.com/flying-dude/efly This one does its job. Alternatively if the last Arch ISO doesn't work download the second to last or third to last, it doesn't change much for a "normal" installation
