It's a tough one to recommend for, that fanless system tends to overheat just being on, much less running anything, from all I've read. I'd probably stick with some basics like ADOM, FreeCiv, Battle for Wesnoth, etc. (all three are free by the way). Those games are non-system intensive so shouldn't put too much pressure on it to run them, and turn-based so you don't have to worry about lag. Looking for a bit more action, give the demo for Torchlight a go, see how the system handles it. Should be capable enough but with heat issues it could put a crimp in the play. Similar with Windows (Bedrock) edition Minecraft, give the free trial a go and see what's what. Fez, Bastion, Braid, Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Beyond Good & Evil, Commandos 2+3, Deus Ex, Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Empire Earth, Europa Universalis II, Fallout 1/2/Tactics, Fate, FlatOut 2, Gothic 2, Ground Control, Hearts of Iron, Hitman 3: Contracts, Homeworld (the classic version, comes with the remastered), IL-2 Sturmovik, Jagged Alliance 2, Machinarium, Majesty, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Mount & Blade, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, Planescape: Torment, Praetorians, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Quake 1-3, Rayman 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Shadow Warrior Classic, Sid Meier’s Civilization III (or give Freeciv a go instead), Silent Storm, SimCity 4 Deluxe, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, Starcraft (original, it's the free one), System Shock 2, The Curse of Monkey Island, The Settlers IV, Theme Hospital, Thief, Thief 2, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider II, should run on that.

Eu acho que dá pra colocar Battle for Wesnoth ou OpenSpades como equivalentes ao Xadrez por serem open source, mas não o League of Legends ou o Free Fire.

Maybe look at https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/blob/2534c6184ef4c8a928c888fdebddcbbd0f97cdbb/src/wesnoth.cpp around line 1045. Maybe what it says about the command line switches, and forcing a Windows console to be attached, will be helpful. You may be able to run it with a set of switches that mean it doesn't need to be a TTY or whatever a Windows console is.

I just recommended it in another thread but Battle for Wesnoth is a free open source strategy game that has you vying for control of villages on a map with the goal of having enough forces to tactically kill your opponent's leader. Each of the various fantasy factions of the game starts with a fairly straightfoward set of units with dedicated roles (e.g. Elvish Archers are ranged units, Elvish Shamans heal, Merfolk are dedicated water units, etc...) but can promote if they gain enough experience from kills to become better at their role or take on a different role entirely. This combined with the RPS dynamic of different unit interactions means that battles that look fairly simple on the surface can become complex fights that encourage you to check things like unit positioning, terrain, what damage types your unit can deal, the time of day, etc... to outwit your opponent. There's at least 6-7 story campaigns with multiple difficulty levels that can help ease you into the game; I'd probably recommend a shorter easier one like A Tale of Two Brothers that could be completed in a few sessions.

  • Using Lua scripts with C++

In my game I made a Singleton Lua VM class, made a wrapper class (for AI). So when an object is created its component (the AI class) preloads its special script for the object. I exported C/C++ functions to lua VM (such as getPosition, getPlayerPosition, checkCollideTile, ... ) So those functions can be called from the script. Implemented AI::getActions (a C++ function), which "asks" LuaVM to run an update function (from the preload script) for the object. I hope it all make sense. P.S. Keep in mind you can significantly improve your productivity if you use a game engine. Also You can look at FOSS games which use Lua for scripting (i.e, wesnoth: https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth )
