Xorg being removed. What does this mean?
https://github.com/r-c-f/waynergy, and inputleap seems to have libei support which makes it compatible with some Wayland display servers.

I know of waynergy - but that is only a client. I would like my hyprland desktop to be the host, and connect my hyprland laptop as a client.

KVM but only mouse and keyboard
Barrier doesn't work with Wayland, but as long as you don't mind your Linux system being the client (your Windows machine being the server), you can use waynergy in Wayland with Windows running whatever (Waynergy is compatible with Barrier and I think Barrier should be compatible with Synergy 1.x).

Feature Request: Wayland Support
A workaround implementation also exists to use Synergy with Wayland (https://github.com/r-c-f/waynergy), but keep in mind it needs to make use of wlroots

Is it me, or wayland works now better than Xorg?
Have you tried Waynergy? It's a Synergy client for Wayland compositor, mainly wlroots-based, but it also has early support for KWin and (as a fallback) supports kernel-level input through /dev/uinput. I haven't tried it, but I've read good things about it.
