Omnom: Self-hosted bookmarking with searchable, wysiwyg snapshots [showcase]
Alternatively, you can also use the SingleFile extension to snapshot what you want and upload it in place of the automated snapshot. This is also handy because the extension allows you to remove private data prior to screenshot, such as your name or username.
I personally have cookies in place for most common social media sites that need login (twitter, reddit), and if I need to snapshot something else occasionally, I do it manually and upload it to Linkding.

Millions are visiting the European Alternatives siteββwhat trends are we seeing?
Self-hosting hundreds of GBs of data isn't feasible, you also need backups and it's a terrible idea for most people. Hetzner does provide managed Nextcloud instances.
For bookmarks, I recommend Linkding: https://linkding.link

No Longer Posting to Pinboard
The design of Pinboard exists in a similar but self hosted service called linkding [1]. I've been self hosting with Docker for a few years with no issues I can recall. Just checked and it does have the responsive forms as well.

Google now moderates synched bookmarks
Why would you trust Google or Mozilla with any of your data? They're both horrifically untrustworthy. Self-host your bookmarks:

Linkding has plugins for Librewolf (privacy aware Firefox) and all the Chrome-garpage (Brave, Vivaldi, etc.) that can handle tagging as well as inject your own bookmarks into your search results.

Show HN: Linkwarden β An open source collaborative bookmark manager
I'll definitely give it a short this weekend. Are there any plans to support different authentication methods? Like LDAP, OAuth2 etc?
I'm using linkding at the moment https://github.com/sissbruecker/linkding which also has a browser addon, the only missing thing is some form central user auth but we're using it as it is.
