  • Need help with Sosiel and Nenio
Are you planning to use the Respec mod or are you trying to "salvage" their builds as-is?
  • Alternate builds for Wenduag or Arueshalae?
Well, there is the Respec mod, but if you opt not to use it: since you recruit Wenduag at level 1, it's pretty easy to switch her to DEX melee and treat her first level as a "sunk cost." Or go with a dual-thrower build like this one; fighter 1 / ranger 19 also works great if you want an extra pet and don't mind having two ranged rangers.
  • Respec removes enhancement bonus, invalidating stat-dependent feats
The Respec Mod allows you to return to the game map after leveling up once, so you can requip your items for their stat bonuses. The default/ToyBox respec immediately puts you into the class screen
  • Pretty much the only reason a Lich would keep Staunton...
  • How to build a good Cleric
I used the Respec mod to turn him into a Crusader similar to this build. He won't get to be an Angel, of course, and I left him with Shelyn to specialize in glaives; but that also means he couldn't start with Animal domain. However rather than using Impossible Domain to grab Animal, I took Nobility for the extra buffs. He's a polearm user, after all, so once he's buffed with Enlarge Person / Frightful Aspect, he doesn't really need a mount.
  • I'm extremely overwhelmed by this game in terms of party composition. Do you guys usually play with companions or mercenaries and why?
The Respec mod offers a couple of different options for redoing Companions: a partial redo in which they keep their initial race, alignment, character model, etc. the same but you get to redo their stats and classes from level 1; or a full respec from scratch which basically turns them into a mercenary (not sure how that affects their story quests though).
  • Stability of mods like Toy Box?
as mentioned by others it's been solid - I've also been using the respec mod and it behaves way better than the built in respec.
  • Any way to respec companions from level 0?
This mod will do what you want.
  • Respec just saved my desire to play
this was the most updated version available as of a few days ago. theres 2 more updates that dont address that. unless were talking about different mods, I downloaded it from here:
  • Is there a mod that allows me to respec companions from level 1?
Use this mod to respec from level 1, there are settings to retain original race/portraits etc. Just don't have it enabled at the same time as toybox as it can cause conflicts.
  • Feats disappearing after level up
First question: are you using any mods? I've noticed that the respec mod can cause flaky things like feats disappearing after being taken. I'm grateful it exists but honestly it's been a bit of a crapshoot whether a respec will work properly or not.
  • Scroll savant build after 10?
Or download the Respec mod so you can "fix" your Companions properly. I find it to still be a little flaky though so backup your save first.
  • Multi-classing advice requested
I use the Respec mod, but it can be a little flaky so no guarantees it won't eff up your game.
  • Warpriest or Crusader?
I've been thinking of using the respec mod to turn Sosiel into a Warpriest of Shelyn while my MC is an Angel Crusader similar to this build. So Sosiel focuses on melee DPS + divine support while my MC is the primary offensive caster + frontline support. Decisions, decisions...
  • Will Toybox let me respec Greybor from scratch?
