Pi-hole exists
They're working on it, already have a first test Release which blocks manifest network requests https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/commit/a559f5f2715c58fea4de09330cf3d06194ccc897
One thing I can suggest that will ALWAYS work is blocking known ad websites on host file level: https://github.com/Ultimate-Hosts-Blacklist/Ultimate.Hosts.Blacklist (or equivalent, there's a lot of resources for it if you look it up)
I can't speak for the rest as I don't know, and this isn't a permanent dolution by any means, but if you're a Brave user, you should still be able to use V2 extensions for at least a while after V3 is released, hard to say how long, but support should still continue for a while. Not to mention Brave has expressed interest in potentially releasing their own extension storefront.
