I can't speak for the rest as I don't know, and this isn't a permanent dolution by any means, but if you're a Brave user, you should still be able to use V2 extensions for at least a while after V3 is released, hard to say how long, but support should still continue for a while. Not to mention Brave has expressed interest in potentially releasing their own extension storefront.
