For Android, I would recommend New pipe over YouTube Vanced. It's open source, you can download videos, play music in the background and doesn't require a Google account to access your subscriptions so it's better from a privacy standpoint as well.

You have to be joking. Brave is literally a broken ad tech business model which only goes downwards. There is no reason to use this crappy fork when ublock origin on a clean Firefox is safe and secure. You can't get it better than this. There is a huge community of people behind ublock which don't want to show you ads, your attention or you money. There is no reason at all to go for Brave.
