And, optionally (it really just makes the colors look nicer, but you'll still get a very pretty game without it), Reshade and SimminglyTimeLadies's Vu Tower preset. I strongly advise people not to bother with the DXVK method if they install Reshade, because it's very tedious and DXVK isn't officially supported on Windows. I use Sims 2 RPC and simply followed the second method at this link, then put the Reshade.asi file in the "mods" folder used by Sims 2 RPC.
