  • docker-autocompose

Generate a docker-compose yaml definition from a running container

  • Portainer

Making Docker and Kubernetes management easy.

  • When creating a single container through Portainer, we don't use compose as this might not always be available / applicable. Instead, we use your selections to spin up a container via the equivalent of docker run. As such, there's no stored compose file generated from this container. You can use the Inspect option to view the container's configuration and use that to build out a compose file manually, but autogeneration of this isn't a feature we have yet.
