Another model would be a decentralized protocol like lbry.com. LBRY does not make money be taking a cut of revenue from creators. Rather, it owns a portion of the tokens used on the site, which increase in value as demand for the protocol increases. This model can make distribution ridiculously cheap (if I understand it correctly). Why is this a good thing? If a creator sells his product for a sufficiently low price on this protocol, then it would be too expensive for a competitor to pirate and distribute at a profit. Perhaps the content could be a "Fremium" model, with tokens being used for special perks and what not. The distributor, say Odysee, has an incentive to keep the consumers on their site, which would involve keeping the producers on their site (content creators also create communities around them). They could do this at a low cost by giving creators tokens based on views, and they will still make money by keeping some reserves for themselves.
