I had the same problem, use this one https://github.com/lawl/NoiseTorch
Try running it with PRoton Experimental first for configuration. When it freezes, kill it and start it with the latest proton-GE version: https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.19-GE-2
Are you using Lutris ? Take a look at their wiki entry for it on github.
Low performance is to be expected with your config. You can try to install these performance mods for minecraft : * Iris that contains Sodium * Sodium, don't use it with iris, it already has sodium. * Lithium * Phosphor

I was wondering on how to cap fps for a specific game with Lutris? I am using Pop!_OS 21.04 with a GTX 1050Ti. With the NVIDIA drivers version 470.63.01. The game I wanna cap is Assassins Creed: Black Flag to 60 fps. I was looking around and found this project called libstrangle. Is there easier and better way? Or would this be good?
https://github.com/josh-richardson/cadmus i'm using this, works pretty good
