    • SteamOS also does a lot more tricks, such as the aforementioned game suspending stuff, and running games in their own Wayland session (technically current prototypes use X11, but they're planning on switching to Wayland before launch or shortly after) using Gamescope, which reduces input lag and enables a bunch of resolution-related tricks, among other things. This is also something that does not exist, and may not even be possible, on Windows.
