About G29, which driver do you use? The kernel includes the old one that only implements the constant force, but since some time ago you can install the driver of a friend, u/berarma, new-lg4ff, that activates the rest of the effects .... and yes, Linux is wonderful.

Really, BeamNG is a great game that has been working quite well with Proton for a few months now. They have also recently added the possibility to use Vulkan instead of DirectX (in the launcher go to Support Tools and press Vulkan).
