  • whitefield

Whitefield provides a simulation environment for wireless sensor networks by combining RF simulation provided by NS3 and network stack provided by popular IoT OSes such as Contiki/RIOT/OpenThread.

  • I found and forked the https://github.com/whitefield-framework/whitefield project that shares the same objective. It simulates the IEEE802.15.4 protocol using NS-3 and lets you run your code that uses upper-layers implementation from RIOT-OS. It's not perfect nor a finished product but it gives you an idea of what you can do. In the end, it depends on the radio protocol you are using and what part of the network stack exactly you need to simulate.
