Try Open Chinese Convert. You can also install OpenCC via Homebrew as well. macOS can can convert between the two character sets, although it's not as smart as OpenCC (for example, macOS will convert「才」 to 「纔」 whereas OpenCC won't do this).
I use opencc via this Calibre plugin to convert epubs https://github.com/Hopkins1/TradSimpChinese (the opencc version is not up to date so you probably want to change that manually)
