  • I think what you're looking for is [respond] -- check the Klipper docs for more info. You can also use action_respond_info to send messages to the console (see https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/blob/master/docs/Command_Templates.md)

  • There's two issues here. First, make sure your start gcode includes the dummy commands show here. Then you may want to consider overriding the M109/M190 commands to prevent them from waiting for the temp to stabilize such as with my override macros here.

  • WLED

Control WS2812B and many more types of digital RGB LEDs with an ESP8266 or ESP32 over WiFi!

  • Most of my smarthome stuff is on ESPHome, WLED, or Tasmota. The rest is zigbee. So it all functions entirely locally and a lot of it is stuff I "coded" myself (ESPHome is basically just jinja scripting so should be very familiar to klipper users)

  • esphome

ESPHome is a system to control your ESP8266/ESP32 by simple yet powerful configuration files and control them remotely through Home Automation systems.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
