esphome
ESPHome is a system to control your ESP8266/ESP32 by simple yet powerful configuration files and control them remotely through Home Automation systems.
I think what you're looking for is [respond] -- check the Klipper docs for more info. You can also use action_respond_info to send messages to the console (see https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/blob/master/docs/Command_Templates.md)
There's two issues here. First, make sure your start gcode includes the dummy commands show here. Then you may want to consider overriding the M109/M190 commands to prevent them from waiting for the temp to stabilize such as with my override macros here.
Most of my smarthome stuff is on ESPHome, WLED, or Tasmota. The rest is zigbee. So it all functions entirely locally and a lot of it is stuff I "coded" myself (ESPHome is basically just jinja scripting so should be very familiar to klipper users)
