Over-engineering an RGB LED strip: let’s make a custom programming language
I'm surprised this one[0] hasn't been mentioned, it is my favorite so far.
A fast and feature-rich implementation of an ESP8266/ESP32 webserver to control NeoPixel (WS2812B, WS2811, SK6812) LEDs or also SPI based chipsets like the WS2801 and APA102!

12 years of manga collecting! Really happy with how the room has turned out :)
As far as software goes, there's a FOSS library called WLED which knows how to handle most of the communication using an ESP32 or an ESP8266 MCU, which preferably was also mounted on a control board (such as the QuinLED) that can properly regulate the power.

Coding a new I2C type RGBWW led
I am far too lazy for that. I would just replace the dimmer IC with a good one with known specs and stick it on a daughter board, then use the open source WLED firmware on the ESP8266 and customize it as needed. https://github.com/Aircoookie/WLED

Looking for recommendations of wireless strip LED lighting that can all be synced to one app on my phone
Look into wled. It's a firmware for esp microcontrollers to run ws2812 strips and similar leds.

It’s great having Temp and humidity readings, but guess I should move my Pi 2ZW out of the enclosure!
I've also used them with or without an oled panel on a WLED board to change LED brightness, color, etc.
