I'm interested in this desktop version of ChatGPT. I understand that nothing is 100% safe to download from the internet. I don't have the expertise to look at the code files and discern if it contains malicious or privacy-breaking contents. I see that it has been "starred" and "forked" thousands of times. And it looks like it has a number of active contributors to the project. Would that be enough to feel safe about downloading this program? How else can I verify that this program is safe to use on my personal machine? Thanks in advance
Code that attempts to read and interact with the memory-space of other programs can be used to do stuff like this.
