  • SoilMachine

Advanced, modular, coupled geomorpohology simulator for real-time procedural terrain generation.

  • Glad you like them! Just a word of advice, the original procedural hydrology is a little outdated. If you plan on reimplementing something similar, I recommend working off of the up-to-date codebase. If different soil types are a requirement for you (depending on your use case, you could probably get away with ignoring them), make sure to check out SoilMachine. This is kind of where all my improvements to the geomorphology simulators are headed upstream.

  • SimpleHydrology

Procedural Hydrology / River / Lake Simulation

  • I have been playing with my SimpleHydrology system [Github Link] over the holidays and decided to implement momentum conservation for the particle-based erosion system. This, together with some minor parameter tweaks, lets me get nice meandering river behavior.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
