Project mention: 18-year-old built a better computer monitor that doesn't strain your eyes | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-10-27I use "Monitor Control" on my Mac Studio to control the brightness of my Dell monitor:
https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl
If you have TrollStore then install the HV version of UTM to try for yourself: https://github.com/utmapp/UTM/releases/latest/download/UTM.HV.ipa
Have a look at CodeEdit. It’s open source, built using SwiftUI, and they’ve put a lot of work into uncovering some of the more ambiguous components in macOS.
Project mention: Beeper Mini will add SMS & RCS, other services, and FaceTime in ‘near future’ | /r/Android | 2023-12-07
Project mention: How do I install stable diffusion on my Mac Air? My midjourney subscription expired, and I don’t wanna pay another 60 a month. So I wanna try a new service. | /r/StableDiffusion | 2023-07-12Mochi Diffusion is very fast but you're limited to 512x512 or whatever image sizes the model is generated on
On Mac I can recommend MeetingBar [1] for that.

If the sticky keys come back, you can use software like this to mitigate it reasonably well.
Project mention: Native Toast/Alert for React Native (support New Architecture) | /r/reactnative | 2023-07-09Because I discovered these 2 libraries: https://github.com/sparrowcode/AlertKit https://github.com/ivanvorobei/SPIndicator And I want to implement it for React Native based on Turbo module (which is very powerful).
Project mention: A list of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS offerings that have free tiers of interest to devops and infradev | dev.to | 2024-02-05RevenueCat — Hosted backend for in-app purchases and subscriptions (iOS and Android). Free up to $2.5k/mo in tracked revenue.
Project mention: How would you guys go on about creating custom alerts in the app? Using SwiftUI | /r/swift | 2023-06-28I used to use AlertToast, but have recently found PopupView. AlertToast is very nice, but is not very actively developed. PopupView is very nice too, and allows you to build whatever UI you wish inside of your alert. Actually, it's more like a modal than an alert, but either way, it's very customizable. I guess nothing stops you from using both.
Congratulations for buying a NON-PC that's IN-capable of playing games on its own except these games https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/List_of_macOS_ARM_games. You paid top dollars for a crippled machine, all thanks to Apple. Any ARM user "Must" use one of the PC Emulators told in https://github.com/mikeroyal/Apple-Silicon-Guide which is usually Rosetta (default by Apple) for you so that you can play ANY game you see but NOT in its native speed but in Emulated (slower but not much) speed.
