Can macOS control brightness on Dell U3419W Monitor?

I have looked online at various solutions and both MonitorControl and Lunar don't recognize the monitor's DDC either.

If that doesn't work, it's MonitorControl.reddit.com/r/macmini | 2021-02-11
I recommend using a utility called MonitorControl https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl It lets you change the monitor brightness with the keyboard/menu bar icon. Ive been using it for months with my LG monitor with no problems.

Any clues if it's possible (even if in a hacky way) to communicate with/read/set LG OLED TVs' settings via DDC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_Data_Channel) interface (a.k.a. control monitor settings via your computer)? Couldn't find any info about this at places as http://www.ddcutil.com/ and https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl nor any other specialized forums. Appreciated!
Am I missing something or are there really no straight forward solutions for this?

You could try using tools like MonitorControl. The Mac doesn't have HDMI-CEC, so you generally have to adjust the Volume via the monitor itself. That's why you can't "control" the Volume by default. Try your luck with the tool though, it might recognize your monitor and you'd be able to control Brightness/Volume via Mac!

Check MonitorControl, that's what I am using with my LG 29WK600. It's a bit quirky (when adjusting volume, both macOS and display create popups that show the new volume), but it gets the job done. :)
