  • GitHub repo Docker-OSX

Run Mac in a Docker! Run near native OSX-KVM in Docker! X11 Forwarding! CI/CD for OS X!

    Project mention: Kholia/OS X-KVM: Run macOS on QEMU/KVM | | 2021-12-02

Sorry for the late response, just saw this. When I did it last I just used the Docker-OSX project [1]. It should pretty much just work, the readme has a section about on running it on WSL.

If you don't want to use Docker it should still be possible with the OSX-KVM, I've done it before, but I can't remember the exact steps I took to get it running, sorry.

Should also note that I've run into issues with AMD CPUs, Intel seems to work better, but I also haven't tried it since they first added nested virtualization support with AMD CPUs to Hyper-V, so those problems might be fixed now.

🖥🐧 Setup script for eGPUs in Linux (Xorg)

    Project mention: Can't use eGPU | | 2021-11-27

I got a Razer X Chroma with an Nvidia RTX 2070. It works fine on Windows, but in Pop OS I don't know how to get applications to run on it. I got the egpu-switcher script, set that up, and rebooted my computer. nvidia-smi detects the egpu, but it doesn't show in nvidia x-server settings, and I just don't know how to use the GPU. Can anybody help me?

  • GitHub repo x11-packages

Project mention: Anyway to launch vlc with arguments with termux? | | 2021-11-02

    * It is not available through the official packages repository. You could, although, try building it from the source code, however you might have to patch the source code and port it for Android; if you manage to do this, it would be appreciated if you could help the project by adding VLC to Termux's GUI repository. You could also use mpv-x as an alternative, it is available in Termux's repositories.

Project mention: Auto-hiding polybar for more screen space | | 2021-01-21

The automatic hiding/showing of the bar is handled by a script called This script is a very fancy and highly configurable solution for hiding / showing any system window by only knowing their name. I have modified this script quite a bit to be able to move my main polybar together with the system tray and to support my popup bar in terms of hiding it at the right moment as well as to support pinning.
