Is the device recognised? Perhaps udev rules, there is a sample on their github repo: https://github.com/Coldcard/ckcc-protocol you could also try to get that CLI working. If the CLI is working then electrum should see it too.

Once you have the hash cracked, it doesn't solve the issue of actually opening the wallet and determining what coin/network the wallet belongs to. Walletlib can dump the contents of various wallet files and attempt to discern what coins are in the wallet, or at least provide a start.
