Project mention: Smerf: Streamable Memory Efficient Radiance Fields | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-12-13You’re under the right paper for doing this. Instead of one big model, they have several smaller ones for regions in the scene. This way rendering is fast for large scenes.
This is similar to Block-NeRF [0], in their project page they show some videos of what you’re asking.
As for an easy way of doing this, nothing out-of-the-box. You can keep an eye on nerfstudio [1], and if you feel brave you could implement this paper and make a PR!

Project mention: ECON: Explicit Clothed humans Optimized via Normal integration | /r/StableDiffusion | 2023-06-09I think you forgot the content https://github.com/YuliangXiu/ECON
Project mention: Non official colab to create normal maps using "Estimating and Exploiting the Aleatoric Uncertainty in Surface Normal Estimation" from baegwangbin | /r/Automate | 2023-05-09I needed normal maps for my movie and I saw in the new ControlNet update that they used https://github.com/baegwangbin/surface_normal_uncertainty to make normals which gave me better results than previous methods. So I decided to make a colab to process all my images because I didn't find how to do it in Automatic 1111.
