Craig Wright wins ‘only nominal damages’ of £1 in Bitcoin libel case
Multi-sig wallets weren't invented until 3-4 years after the initial release of bitcoin (I can't pin down an exact date, but it was some time in 2012).
Craig claims (or at least, has previously claimed) that he controls an address that is well-known to belong to Satoshi[0]. Turns out, the proof he provided is fake[1]. In my opinion, when you say "I have hard proof, here it is" and it turns out that proof is faked we can throw all the circumstantial evidence out the window.

"Craig Wright: ‘I invented bitcoin — now it’s a Ponzi scheme’: The man who claims to have invented the digital currency says it was meant to be the successor to cash, not a tool of speculation"
I’m afraid that fact is strongly disputed by people far smarter than me: https://github.com/patio11/wrightverification

Maybe. Try `apt-get bitcoin-cli`
At least one place is to download from https://bitcoincore.org
As with all binaries outside of package managers that handle signed verification, be sure to verify the signature.

Verifying bitcoin core
I looked up the SHA256 hashfile of my download and it was not in the list that I found on bitcoincore.org. Is this a faulty software? Or is it just not in the list since I downloaded it from another site?
