How to Upgrade my bitcoin daemon?
Hello, I downloaded bitcoin core 25 from bitcoincore.org, but the only instructions I could find relating to the installation of the bitcoin daemon was on bitcoin.org (which seems to only offer up to bitcoin 22).

But if you check the link they posted, that's bitcoincore.org, not bitcoin.org That link is also the site that Bitcoin core on the releases page will link to as well.

Verifying bitcoin core
I looked up the SHA256 hashfile of my download and it was not in the list that I found on bitcoincore.org. Is this a faulty software? Or is it just not in the list since I downloaded it from another site?

If you just want a node, go to https://bitcoincore.org, RTFM, download for your machine, and run. That's it!

The actual website for Bitcoin Core is https://bitcoincore.org/ anyways, where it is both available and the most recent version.

If you're the DIY type I strongly recommend the raspibolt tutorial - geared for a Pi but good for any device, just substitute arm64 for your architecture.
