There are instructions for verification https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/ Scroll down to "Verify your download" and click the relevant arrow to reveal the instructions (this step is annoying, non-obvious)
I just downloaded bitcoin core but cannot figure out how to verify it before i begin running it. It shows there are keys on this site https://bitcoin.org/en/download but there are really no instructions for how to complete this process on this site https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#windows-10 not much help for beginners. I've been trying to dig for resources and one place said keys are here? https://github.com/bitcoin-core/guix.sigs/tree/main/builder-keys

But if you check the link they posted, that's bitcoincore.org, not bitcoin.org That link is also the site that Bitcoin core on the releases page will link to as well.
