5 years ago Valve released Proton forever changing Linux gaming
I run winesapOS[0] which is based on SteamOS and was able to repurpose an old Toshiba notebook for my kids, running Freddy Fish* and other games. Windows 10 doesn't run smoothly (even though it came with Windows 10) and I'm not going to run anything older than that.
* Yes, ScummVM is available for Linux but the Steam Linux distribution included an old ScummVM which wasn't able to load some libraries. Running the Windows version through an compatibility layer was easier than modifying shell files to run the latest ScummVM through flatpak.

SteamOS 3 for PC?
HoloISO and ChimeraOS no longer support Nvidia so you'll need to use winesapOS.
- Linux hits a multi-year high for user share on Steam thanks to Steam Deck

WinesapOS
Context: winesap seems to be a spin of SteamOS3 with KDE, somehow optimised for gaming. It's meant to be used as a live distro?

Is there a way to run the SteamOS from the Steam Deck on an Alienware Alpha/Steam Machine?
My understanding is that Valve intends to release SteamOS 3 for install on other machines at some point, and it will likely include support when that happens. In the meantime, there a modified version of it available on GitHub here which claims to support NVIDIA GPUs, but I have not tried it.

Would You recommend the Steam Deck as a daily driver?
https://github.com/LukeShortCloud/winesapOS - it is a simple image, ready made, with a lot of software installed. There is almost no configuration needed. However, this means that the image will contain a lot of software that you don't need. From a gaming perspective, you could even game on this and it's already set up - but as it is running from a SD card, I prefer to just reboot into the standard OS.

Every time system update, my neuron activates
If you want something similar to HoloISO, but it has everything you need out of the box, there is WinesapOS. It is also based on the Steam recovery image, but with a bunch of apps and changes for desktop gamers. For an advanced user it would be too bloated, but for a beginner it means you will not need to install or setup apps for any of your game launchers, antivirus software, Chrome, Wine, etc. It also features Intel Mac support, which is pretty cool.

Something peculiar in my 2yo's bedroom led me to a revelation about our universe
Most of the time you can just replace twitter.com with nitter.net or nitter.it but when these instances are down or blocked you can use other instances listed here: https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/wiki/Instances
But as the other commenter said Libredirect is the way to go: https://libredirect.github.io/

I hear we’re a dictatorship now, Father
The LibRedirect extension can redirect Twitter links to Nitter, and redirects a bunch of other sites to better privacy-friendly alternatives.

Dan Parker has sold off Yugipedia and YGOrganization, nine months after the Yugipedia Lost Incident
You can use https://libredirect.github.io/ to automatically redirect to a Breezewiki instance, but I'm not sure if LibRedirect would interact with YGOWiki Redirector or Indie Wiki Buddy.

Piped – An alternative privacy-friendly YouTube front end
You can embed videos from an Invidious instance instead; on a video's page[1] there's an "embed video" link[2] you can use. The instance can be one hosted by you if you don't trust public ones, and you probably want to enable proxying by default if you don't want your clients to stream the video directly from Google's servers. You can also use a browser extension like libredirect[3] to automatically replace YouTube embeds with Invidious ones while browsing the web.
