I used this. But if I had to do it again I would've used this. Both contain build of materials.

One option to fix this involves taking the Voron Switchwire (Core XZ) route using either the Gizzle_switchwire) or Triano mods. Another recent development is this promising mod (but new and largely untested) that promises to do the same for real cheap.

Hey, see my other comment. As for the skirts, they're from Triano's ender 3 conversion mod, though I modified them a bit and then made them single-piece once my V2 was up.

This was once an Ender 3 Pro. I used DaRk_dOg's Mod of Trianos Ender>SW Mod. I still have a lot of tuning to do, but the next thing will be the enclosure :-)

The Switchwire isn't exactly designed as an upgrade to any existing printer, but there are a couple of decently documented github projects to adapt the Ender, but not necessarily the S1 specifically.

I am looking to convert my E3v2 to Switchwire(SW), but I have some questions about the build, firmware, and slicer setup. Anyone who knows this conversion or has done it, I would love some guidance. I plan to use this or this for the conversion and already have half a stealthburner built. I've also watched assembly vids such as Hyper Makes and Steve Builds.

Check out the Ender 3 Switchwire mods. For example this one or this one. But there are several available mods. Just google it and find the best one for you. Those mods are based on 2020 or 2040 extrusions and should also work with other similar printers. Someone posted a serial request for an Artillery Sidewinder converted into a Switchwire using one of the Ender mods.

I think someone is about to build their first Voron. A Voron Switchwire would be a worthy project.

You could do this to save some money and still get a fast printer.

Mostly Triano's Usermod, a few parts are DaRk_dOg I fixed a few things myself before finding DaRk_dOg, and there's a modified rear motor mount allowing a 48mm e3d high torque stepper
