Totally new to this and thinking of upgrading my ender 3 s1 pro to voron. Anyone done it? Any sites I can look into about doing it? I heard about the switch wire upgrade but not too much about it.
The Switchwire isn't exactly designed as an upgrade to any existing printer, but there are a couple of decently documented github projects to adapt the Ender, but not necessarily the S1 specifically.

Qs about Ender->SW conversion. PART 1 See description
I am looking to convert my E3v2 to Switchwire(SW), but I have some questions about the build, firmware, and slicer setup. Anyone who knows this conversion or has done it, I would love some guidance. I plan to use this or this for the conversion and already have half a stealthburner built. I've also watched assembly vids such as Hyper Makes and Steve Builds.

Will 2040 and 2020 extrusions work?
Check out the Ender 3 Switchwire mods. For example this one or this one. But there are several available mods. Just google it and find the best one for you. Those mods are based on 2020 or 2040 extrusions and should also work with other similar printers. Someone posted a serial request for an Artillery Sidewinder converted into a Switchwire using one of the Ender mods.

What should I do with a spare Ender 3 Pro?
I think someone is about to build their first Voron. A Voron Switchwire would be a worthy project.

whilst my V0 parts arrive i decided to start working on an SW conversion from an anycubic mega Zero and based on the parts for the ender 3 conversion.
I've also got a few Modded Parts on my Github, because 99% of those machines uses 2020 and 2040 Profiles, and not all standard parts will fit.

Toolhead for the E3D Volcano Hotend: Would it be reasonable to ask the Designer to include?
Well I'm too ignorant to add it to the Voron User Mods, but it's already on my Github Page. But everything there is Switchwire Related. So, some mode may not work on other Models.
